Louise Johnson

Mountain Women | Hine Tāpuhipuhi Project Manager

From corporate boardrooms to snowy mountaintops, Lou brings her passion for snow sports and experience in people, culture, inclusion and performance to Snow Sports NZ as the Mountain Women | Hine Tāpuhipuhi Project Manager. Lou knows we’re better together so loves nothing more than gathering up groups of passionate people to work on making things better. And where she sees folks being left out or left behind… she’s driven to act. Her mission? Helping create a snow sports scene where every girl and every woman feels like a valued part of the crew.

A big shout out to everyone who supports the Mountain Women | Hine Tāpuhipuhi project and who’ve helped bring these resources to life.

To Taylor Rapley, former ski racer and current registered psychologist, for providing the brilliant mental skills material. And to Tegan Duffy for showing us the moves in the strength and conditioning videos. Your collective passion for this project and expertise and energy were game-changing.
